Why should I donate to
Storm Lifeline?

Storm Lifeline was created out of the pain and suffering of Sherri and a friend when they were abandoned by their husbands, but in two very different ways. Abandonment can come in different forms, and it is not always malicious. Sherri nor her friend could control the crisis situations that crossed their paths, and after reconnecting they realized they did not want to waste their pain by helping others make it through their Storms.

Storm Lifeline serves as a sort of "triage" or "emergency room" for people who had partners, but who have been abandoned through divorce, death, or life-altering illness or accident. We provide encouragement and guide Storm Victims to resources so they can heal, adjust to their new situation, and return to living productive lives.

People who come to Storm Lifeline for help will have access to:

  • Links to services in their state

  • Links to national services

  • Personal health tips

  • Legal tips

  • Financial tips

  • Home and car tips

  • Book suggestions and video links

  • Access to blogs written by people who have been where they are right now

  • Encouragement through social media, texts, and email

Chances are you already know a Storm Victim. There are men and women who have suffered tragic loss, and they need your encouragement. They need hope. Storm Lifeline will meet them where they are, and bring love, hope, and encouragement.
